Route 66 Sound is a new chorus in Region 21 of Sweet Adelines International.
We are an acapella chorus whose goal is to create exciting and smile-inducing performances that push the envelope of the barbershop art form. Our members are committed to independent/self-motivated study of our barbershop music and principles in order to achieve this goal.
This chorus was founded on some basic principles:

We want to perform within the community around Albuquerque

We want to educate others about the barbershop style of singing

We want to improve our performance skills and compete annually

We expect each member to take full individual responsibility in preparation and improving their performance skills

We want to take full advantage of the educational opportunities afforded us by our Regional and International organizations
